thinking of June Belanger (WWII WREN) passed 2012 August 10 ... Betty Shakelton, and Art Parker (Corvette) also passed ....
we left at 6:10 .. sun not quite up yet
on our AIS we noted some freighters coming into the harbour, also we monitored Channel 12, and had the traffic for the harbour
the night before we talked to the Pilot Boat Chebucko, and he said that it was quiet night for them, and would not leave until 4:30 am ..... we mentioned that we are the sailboat across from them and some times there is a bit of wake , when they leave ... we got our gift .. they are returning from a freighter and they give us a blow on the horn at 6am..... thanks Pilot Guys ....
there was not too many pictures taken because the seas were not the ones we wanted, but it was not the worst that we have had, our Auto could not handle it so "autoYonn" had to .. it made me more comfortable because there was shoals on both sides of us, and too close to think that the motor would stop !! me made it ...
we went for a dinghy ride part way around an island
so calm in here
water is tannin, but not as salty as the ocean
oh what a beautiful day at a mooring ball ...
