there was lots of interesting boats .. sailing around
a golf course .... it sure looked kind of hilly to me ... we thought maybe we might wake to have a golf ball on the deck
skipper taking a picture of the tour sail boat, it always had 30 or so visitors aboard
this fishing boat backed out of the dock and this little tug, kept watch to it's port
down town had lots of tourist shops, lots of good local artists ... then you climb the hill and more beautiful shops ... my sea legs sure got a work out on the hills
we stopped in to see a wooden boat builder at work, one of his Dory's ... this guy was only about 40 years and he has been building for 20 years ...
another beauty
the Bluenose II, still on dry dock ..
our good sailing friends, Dave and Mary Lou Bath, came for a visit and a night on Modaki
Dave as usual kept us laughing, with his jokes and stories that "he" swears are all true !!!! love having you two aboard Modaki ...
well the next morning we set off back to Mahone Bay, hoping for a good sail ... we took Mary Lou with us and Dave drove the car .... our trip was 3 1/2 hours by boat and Dave took 3/4 hour by car
no wind, no fog, no waves .. 5 Porpoises , lots of seals
