we took the dinghy to the other side of the bridge, to Eastport, one of the places I wanted to visit is this Pirate Adventures … we got some Pirate gear for Wyatt and Carter … (4yr olds)
here again is the houses that are only 10 ft wide
visited a antique place, full of nautical goodies
we found a small beach and some sea glass
this part of town was well maintained and some interesting woodwork too
I wonder what the meaning behind this name
our destination was to go to the Annapolis Marine Museum, there was an open house exhibit of photographs, and we were invited to view, also taste the cheese/crackers/grapes/cookies/ smarties and of course wine
the other half of the original museum was the history of oyster fishing
using rakes to collect the oysters
shucking them
look at the pile of oysters
there was a skipjack boat on display, which was used in oystering
we came across this restaurant that Joe visited last year when he was here, it is a must to have supper there some night
tow Boat US, binging in a disabled sailboat, to a dock near us … we understand that another boat lost it's anchoring and was riding up on the rocks for a few hours, before being rescued
the logo on the side of the boat is
"we don't charge an arm and a leg, we just want your tow "
Joe needed to get the information off the golf cart batteries, so everything has to come out of the garage (quarter berth)
we also took 5 different buses to get groceries today, but the good news is it only cost us a total of $4 dollars, because we are seniors in Maryland
Joe tying up the dinghy for the night, but those ducks got us anyway, but not as bad as the first day
