Joe caught in a wave , ha ha
the Newport Boat Show is getting set up for tomorrow's opening, Joe and I walked around waiting for our fuel pump to arrive … no one noticed that we were not paying customers
my next boat .. 100 ft long and 40 ft wide and black to boot
Joe's next boat … he is more practical … but maybe just as much $$$$$
hey … I got to have my picture taken with Bob Bitchin, (Cruising Outpost Magazine), Lattitide and Attitude Magazine … okay I have most of the issues … Bob is an ex-biker and has the best attitude for living life that I have ever seen … so nice to meet you BOB !!!
Bob mentioned that his wife Jody is inside setting up the booth . … so I hauled Joe inside the back entrance to find their booth … what a fantastic woman !!! we are planning to be in Annapolis Boat Show in October and will meet up again with Bob and Jody… can't wait
back to the million dollar boats … and we got our part and back to Modaki and out of the harbour and on to our next adventure
we saw her coming, once we left the anchorage, but did not expect the speed that it crept up to our stern
we had to cut the day short, because of the lack of daylight … we headed into Point Judith Harbour
only 2 hours, and 8.5 km
we met up with s/v solveic Iren and Vic … we met at Gold River where MODAKI was wintered over, they are on their way to the Bahamas and back to Nova Scotia, in one year
this is an interesting place … the V is man made to protect the shore … we anchored in a N - NE wind and the ocean swells still came in and rocked us all night … then the wind shifted at about 3 AM, not forecasted and the swells continued … another night of not sleeping
