this is a picture of New York City in the distance …. we are anchored behind a breakwater, calm for the first 2 nights
there was lots of fishing nets in this area, and once again a good watch was in order, as you can see, there is flags on top of skinny sticks
for some reason, we seem to be a magnet, the fishing boats come right up beside us to tend their nets
passing Bridgeport, lots of ferries crossing the Long Island Sound to Port Jefferson, and beyond
we left the anchorage at 7am to catch the tide, this was one of the coldest morning so far 12C in the boat … 6 hours and 35 nm
