this is where we are anchored, the passing into this area is only about 40 feet wide at low tide, note red and green bouys
2 1/2 hours later we hauled the anchor and set off thru Woods Hole, with the out going tide … about 4 other boats followed …. this is the town of Woods Hole, another anchorage, but it has about 4 ferries that run in there every hour .. probably a bit rocky, and it is in the middle of the passage too, so not so easy to leave when you want to
one of the ferries, this one took large trucks
this one was a passenger and car ferry, a few days later in the fog, we had to hustle our selves out of its path coming back thru Woods Hole
we have arrived at Martha's Vineyard, who knew it was a island???
the last part of our days trip 3 hours, 13 km … we arrived at Edgartown, Martha's Vineyard, another popular spot was Vineyard Haven at the top of the chart
just off the beach were we anchored was this private boat, with a water slide from the roof top … some lucky little ones on that boat
our view for a couple of nights … anchored off Chappaquiddick Island
