October 7, 2014

we tied up the dinghy at our usual spot and this guy was fishing for crabs, using chicken necks as bait, and collapsable traps … no luck when he showed us how it was done

a quick walk along the historic homes again

the brick work on capping the walls was fantastic

this was a outbuilding, with gun holes, slit in the brick walls

we took a free trolley ride to another area of West street and visited the decorated chicken's
this one was sponsored by a power station

… in front of a fire station

… all recycled material
there was about 7 chickens all decorated differently

close to the State Circle
the State House

we thought it was wood shingles, but it turned out to be clay, siding

after another day of touring, we stopped in to OBriens for a pickled Bloody Mary, with a garden growing on the top …no one here makes Bloody Ceasars
