August 19, 2014 … Rock House Creek

we left the mooring ball at 7am, to see how many miles we could do today, Joe and I back into our survival suits .. and this is Florida …. we are shocked to see so many wrecked boats, I think it was 4 today, along the ICW

this was so interesting a house built on stilts right on the water, with their parking garage under

once again, some sections of the ICW are full of beautiful homes and condo's

someones home

today we did 7 fixed bridges and 4 on demand lift bridges and all of the operators were women, it turned out to be our easiest bridge day to date

pelicans are such funny creatures

we are in the manatees area, some boaters were lucky to see them, but not us yet

we had such a good run with the currant with us all day we passed Daytona Beach, and got to Ponce De Leon inlet, in swampy area again for the night 59 nm today

175 ft Ponce Inlet Lighthouse … what we have been remarking on is how there is no bugs once again, it must be because of the winds .. that will soon change
