- with the help from our rafted boat friend, that got up early to see us off at 6:30, we slipped out of our spot and headed out to sea
- we set a track to avoid the worst of the current, we had enough water to be able to do this
- lots of hills, becaused we are now on the north channel, ski hills
- the next port of call is noted for not knowing English, so Joe is looking up the words, 30 foot sail boat, with 5 foot draft wanting to stay the night, will you have someone to direct us to your slip, etc. (it worked)
- this marina is very different than the rest, large granite rocks with marine growth on the rocks
- the gas dock is only useable at high or mid tide , even at high tide it would be risky for a 6 ft draft boat
- the boat ramp is beside the gas dock and is out of water, at low tide, 15-18 ft tide
- we heard a waterfall when we docked and found it behind the boat
- WHEN WE LEFT THE LAST MARINA, the water temp. was 24.6 temp and 2 hours out to next port it dropped to 11.4
- THE BOAT FOR THE FIRST TIME HAS SWEATING FLOORS
- The beer will now stay cold in the bilge
