August 3/12 safe and sound at dock

• we took a walk around the docks, talked to other sailors we met at earlier marinas
• a McGregor on the beach at low tide
• we walked around on a board walk then onto the rocks at low tide, the wind was starting to pick up.  We where to leave at noon, with the tide.  It kept building, so we know we made the right decision to stay safe at dock.
• lunch - Quebec cheese, smoked salmon, baguette with olive oil, black olives, and blueberries  ... forgot to have some wine
• I spent an hour taking stock of our stores. I have been wanting to do this for about one week, so today was the day.
• it is 6 pm and the winds have not stopped blowing and gusting ... I hope tomorrow things will settle down
