Rimouski - day 4 - August 17/12

Well here we are still in Rimouski,. The local sailors say that there is never fog here in August.  Well we are hoping to leave tomorrow, so they don't think about blame the fog on us.   Another visiting sailor told us that they are now renaming it Fogust, instead of August.
Thank you to Pierre and Manon, for introducing us to warm bread in the morning, Joe is hooked !!
this morning it was with marmalade jam, yesterday it was with cheese, tomorrow who knows ??  Any way it is all good!
today I made egg rolls, the healthy way, (not deep fried)  it takes a while, but well worth the effort
Joe heading out to do extra laundry ... this marina only charges one dollar for a wash and one dollar for dry.  It is the best buy we have had on our trip ... What we did today was to  pull out our survival suits.  Yesterday a 45 ft boat arrived in the fog and bad seas, in there  survival suits..   it is always colder on the water .... the wind was blowing so hard in the marina, that there was a problem getting this beautiful boat to a dock ... Joe went and helped dock her and talked to the crew, they did not have a good trip against the wind and with fog ... they are heading in the same direction as us
fog engulfed us all day .. Joe said it was strange that with no rain, water was  still dripping from the shrouds.
this is about 10 minutes later ...   the ferry just came in and I can't see it from our boat .. she does blow her horn every 1 min ... tomorrow I am doing the same
so foggy we can't see the marina office .. please clear before tomorrow at 9 am the latest .... THANK YOU our Rimouski, sailing friends  Pierre et Manon on Tudleq .... and Martin et Helene on Nordan, you both have made our adventure in Quebec unforgettable ..... smooth sailing our friends !!!!!!!
