part 3 - this place is worth another visit

okay,we got our pail from the boat and put supper in it ... and put in on the boat in the shade with seat covers over it ,  so they would not escape ... before dinner , as Joe and I where going to wonder around the area
our day track
how far we have wondered around Gaspe Peninsula
black back gulls ... not always seen in Owen Sound
on our first walk about we found these petrified rocks, it was so weird, the rocks where breaking off as if they where wood particles  and also you can write on another piece of rock, like slate ... need to find out more
as you can see the weather has no fog .... thank goodness ... beautiful place.. we need to know more French to communicate with the locals ... but some folks, said no English, but stayed and talked to us, they said sorry no English, but they did much better than Joe and my grade 9 French ... we are learning as we go, more french words, that is !!
the fishing village
please note the cross on top of hill
post office
we forgot to bring crackers to open crab, etc.
so the Skipper, had the right idea, what a treat we had, fresh as fresh can be
this gentleman was on the next dock fishing for ?? ... I am sorry now I never went over to see what he was fishing .. he also caught a seagull . and it was not happy, but he gently removed the hook from its wing, and it flew away sore but happy .. I even think he spoke some English , the man, not the sea gull ...
we did another walk after supper
it looked like a tug pulling a cargo ship ... we watched it for a while and the distance never changed, and with binoculars, the boat on left was being hauled.
low tide, layers of rock appearing off shore
the skipper walking this same shore at low tide
we walked all the way around a cliff that was void of water ... low tide
sun set
same area we walked around ... the sun set is to the right in picture
finally around the point
