Hay Bay to Picton and on to Amherst Island -- July 10/12

last nights sun set !!!!

Lafargo Canada ... on way to Picton

as we got closer, we saw a large boat at the dock ...
the water here is no more than 20 feet

Not too sure what this was, maybe part of Lafargo

this was so funny ... we are approaching Picton

kids sure where having fun .. instructor was pulling them out
of the harbour to get to a safer place to learn to sail

a beautiful wooden boat

at town fuel dock
had a pump out, got water and diesel
filled tank with 50 litres and 2 jugs with 20 litres each
not bad for how far we have travelled

a beautiful old tug ...
we got to move Modaki to another dock and we went to town
for about 4 hours .. free

a beautiful old house

beautiful old restored fair grounds ... right beside a
skate board and bike park, which was full of kids

Miss Lily's Cafe was named after the resident cat that lived
there ... and was attached to a fantastic book store ...

Joe got to do wifi here, but I could not get connected.
I went to the library to do the blog posting.
I do all the prep work for the blog on the boat and just need to
find wifi to post ... it has been hard to get a good connection .. even here in Kingston
THEREFORE that is why we are not always up to date

it is still in use ... not enough time to stay for a movie night

an old boat house that has been added on to a few
times ... leaving Picton Harbour

Glenora Ferry on the Adolphus Reach ... MNR research boat is there also

one of the 2 running across this channel

I think Joe and I like tugs .. cause here is another one
we loved

Lennox Generation Station - first time since leaving
Owen Sound that we have been in water that is 150 ft deep

another Lafargo Canada

our days track

one of the 8 boats we anchored with .... very weedy
here, had to move to deeper water on third attempt

we where just around the hook of the land ... not much wind
so we could of anchored any where
