Friday  July 13/12
Kingston to Admiralty Islands in 1000 Islands
At 10 am we where off the dock, hoping to sail, but no wind.
Past Fort Henry and out to the Canadian Middle Channel, and on to the
1000 Islands
The first set of Islands in called the Admiralty Islands ... that is where we decided to find a dock or anchor ... Well this was Friday and all docks in this
Federal Park where full.
We decided on an area to anchor and set out to do so ... another sailor advised us to move into deeper waters cause in this area there are underwater hydro cables running from island to island ... closer examination on the old charts we
where using does have the cables marked ... the chart plotter does not.
I went swimming, it was the first clean (ish) water since Georgian Bay.
A small 22 ft sloop, with mast down, motored in and around us ... DREAMER
He left our anchorage looking for another one ...... fast forward to the next day..This vessel was reported over due from the  Coast Guard.  Joe was just about to radio that we saw him, but another boater called in first.  But I guess they did not actually find him as the alert came at least 3 more times that day.
This area is so close to Gananoque, alot of boats left at 6 pm for home.
