on with our journey, to see the Canadian Maritimes ... get prepared Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and the Iles de la Madeleine !!! we are coming to explore you !!!!!
we left Pointe Du Chene Yacht Club, at 7:05 am, (later to find out our sailing friends
Dave and Mary Lou Bath watched us leave our dock and sail away, on the surveillance camera at the club) Dave and Mary Lou live a half an hour way and watched us on their computer. Watch out what you do at that club !! ha ha
Leaving Pointe du Chene, on the tide ebbing (going out), we got more speed heading out and to PEI.
we had light winds at the beginning, and had to motor sail, for a bit ... oh yeah we are heading to Summerside, Prince Edward Island. it will be a 7 - 8 hour trip, across the Northumberland Strait, from New Brunswick, Canada ****
okay forget about this picture, but it is the Confederation Bridge, I have alway wanted to see it .. and I did while sailing close to it ... and now in a few days I will be passing under it !!!
