last nights sunset, ....... last year I tried to take a sun set shot every night, so lets see how I
make out this year !!
Silver Fox Marina, note how the sailor has a curling broom in his hands ???
a painting on the out side of the Marine Training Centre, next to the marina
Saturday morning has a farmers market, we enjoyed browsing and buying these small
turnips, they are really sweet and crunchy too. Joe also bought a pottery coffee mug, the design is the beach, grasses, water and sky. Robert Andrew McMillan Pottery, we might have to search him out again for the vase I wish now I would of bought.
we came across the Bishop Machine Shop Museum, what a collection.
It is an intact old-fashion machine shop with an amazing collection of lathes and machining tools
and gadgets
it is part of the Wyatt Heritage Foundation
the young lady giving the tour took great pride in explaining every thing is good detail, one thing we remarked on to her was the wood stove in the centre, and if a spark ever hit the wood floor, that was
soaked in oil that dripped from the machines ... it would burn fast. Then she told us a true story of another restored building that it happened to.
some of the sea life we find on the docks ... stay tuned for part two
