I had to do some sewing on our Acadian Flag before it went up ...
The skipper said that this is the tightest spot he has had to dock us so far this year.
this is metal cut out and painted, very good work
lots of colourful paintings
this was about 8 ft tall, the artist had smaller ones in his shop
lots of little artist shops, it reminded us of the Caribbean
but it was a chilly day here
these little snails are all alive, sunning them selves
this way to the water
the remains of a Historic Building
we loved this artist's work ... mirrors in wood, some of them were lite from behind.
made out of cedar shingles
flying the FRENCH, and ACADIAN Flags,
looking back at the village
we did the tour of the Museum too
this explains the following picture
the vessel used to send off the winter mail, the barrow had a rudder, mast and sail
we watched a sail boat coming in in high winds, I am sure he was glad to be off the water
there is lots of shallows every where, the colourful dots in the back ground are kite surfers
a piece of sea weed stuck to a rock ... it looks like a piece of art
the tug was repairing the green bouy
all the lobster boats stern to the wall, to get more boats into the fisherman's wharf
our days collection of sea glass and special rocks
the stone is like a sailboat and the sea glass in shape of a heart
