we started to explore Ile du Havre aux Maisons, then worked our way to Ile de Grosse and Ile de la Grande Entree.

we did sampling first, them purchased two different kinds of cheese and a loaf of freshly
made baguette
next was to tour the only remaining smoke house on the island
Le Fumoir d'Antan we bought smoked herring, smoked mackerel, and seal pate
a door was opened from the outside, to see the smoked herring
sawdust and maple fires (maple is imported from PEI)

it is always windy here
we found this other beach, with white sand and red cliffs
stopped to eat our cheese, bread and smoked herring
back at the boat, I just had to take this picture, there is streams of people coming out to see the Lefleur boat and get their picture taken with it.

todays collection was mostly shells, great colour in them, jewellery here I come !!
